Fred is a rescue Greyhound / Shar-Pei mix with a heart full of curiosity, a love for adventure and one floppy ear. We’ve shared our lives since 2023 when Fred was just one and a half years old and every day with him feels like a new chapter.

Our home is a converted old corner shop terrace house which is close to our local park in Newcastle-under-Lyme, where Fred loves chasing the squirrels. He never catches them, but he still tries. That playful spirit is the heart of what Fred and the Squirrel is all about.

At home, Fred loves to curl up on the blue velvet sofa or sit on the blanket box under the window, watching the world go by. To us, a home is more than just walls and furniture - it’s a place filled with warmth, colour, personality and moments worth cherishing, whatever the size.
